Meet Mohamed Bamba, our 2020 Survivor Sia Award winner, who turned his personal tragedy into a force for good. Mohamed lost his younger brother to a rare disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Instead of being consumed by grief, he chose to fight, founding Cure SMA Canada to raise awareness and funds for SMA research.
