Our MasterChef Season 5 winner, Luca Manfé, has been keeping busy in the culinary world. After his victory, Luca opened his own catering company, Luca's Cucina, in Los Angeles. He's also written two cookbooks, "My Italian Kitchen" and "Luca's Seasonal Italian Cooking". But that's not all, folks! Luca has also made appearances on various TV shows, including MasterChef Italia and MasterChef Junior. Talk about making a name for himself!
Josh Marks
Coming in second place was Josh Marks, who has since become a culinary force to be reckoned with. After the show, Josh moved to New York City and opened his own restaurant, The Loyal, in 2016. The restaurant received critical acclaim and was even nominated for a James Beard Award. Sadly, The Loyal closed its doors in 2020, but Josh is already cooking up new plans. He's currently working on a new restaurant project and sharing his culinary adventures on Instagram – so keep your eyes peeled!
Tristan Gjusta
Rounding out our top three is Tristan Gjusta, who placed third in the competition. After MasterChef, Tristan moved back to his hometown of San Diego and opened a successful food truck, Tristan's Truck. He's also become a regular at local farmers' markets, serving up his delicious dishes to the community. Tristan has also made several TV appearances, including on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen and Guy's Grocery Games.

Sheldon Simeon
Sheldon Simeon was a fan favorite and made it all the way to the top 4. After MasterChef, Sheldon became a personal chef and caterer in his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. He's also been a guest chef at several events and festivals, sharing his Southern-inspired cuisine with the world. Sheldon has also made appearances on The Chew and The Today Show, showcasing his incredible cooking skills.
Elizabeth INGRAHAM
Elizabeth INGRAHAM (yes, all caps!) was another fan favorite who made it to the top 5. After the show, Elizabeth moved back to her hometown of Philadelphia and opened her own catering company, Feast Your Eyes Catering. She's also become a regular at local farmers' markets and has been featured in several publications, including Edible Philly and Philadelphia Magazine.
Darla DIAZ
Darla DIAZ (yes, another set of caps!) was a fierce competitor who made it to the top 6. After MasterChef, Darla moved back to her hometown of Chicago and opened her own food truck, Darla's Dumplings. She's also become a regular at local events and festivals, serving up her delicious dumplings to the masses. Darla has also made appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen and Guy's Grocery Games.
The Rest of the Pack
The rest of the MasterChef Season 5 cast has also been busy making a name for themselves in the culinary world. Christopher "CJ" Jacobson opened a successful food truck, The Cajun Connoisseur, in his hometown of New Orleans. Lesley Sawyers became a private chef and caterer in Los Angeles. Aron D'Souza opened his own restaurant, The Bombay Canteen, in Mumbai, India. And Stephen Lee became a chef instructor at the Culinary Institute of America.
