Fallout, released in 1997, kicks off our journey in the desolate wasteland of Southern California, 84 years after 'The Great War'.

In the opening scene, we meet our Vault Dweller, awakened from a 100-year cryogenic slumber. The Overseer tasks us with finding a new water chip to save Vault 13, and off we go, into the unforgiving world of Fallout. Mutated creatures, raiders, and remnants of old-world technology await us.

The first episode is a classic post-apocalyptic RPG, filled with tough choices and consequences. You'll navigate through the Neutral Ground, The Hub, and The Cathedral, meeting memorable characters like Gizmo and The Super Mutant Leader.

Fallout 2: The Chosen One's Quest

Fallout 2, released in 1998, takes place 80 years after the events of the first game.

You are the Vault Dweller's child, who must now retrieve a G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit) to save your village. This time, you'll travel across the Capital Wasteland, New California Republic, and The Enclave's territory.

Fallout 2 introduces new features like traits and perks, making your character customization even more robust. You'll encounter new factions like the Brotherhood of Steel and The Enclave, and old foes like the Super Mutants and Ghouls.

Fallout 3: Reborn in the Capital Wasteland

Fast forward to 2008, and Fallout 3 brings us to the Capital Wasteland, 300 years after the Great War.

You play as a Vault Dweller's child once again, but this time, you're born into Vault 101. After a mysterious escape, you find yourself in the heart of the Capital Wasteland, searching for your missing father.

Fallout 3 introduces first-person gameplay and VATS (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System) for real-time combat. You'll explore the Capital Wasteland, Point Lookout, and The Pitt, facing off against Mister Crowley, The Lone Wanderer, and The Enclave.

Fallout: New Vegas - Honest Hearts and Courier's Call

In 2010, Fallout: New Vegas brings us to the Mojave Wasteland, four years after the events of Fallout 3.

You are the Courier, tasked with delivering a mysterious package across the Mojave. But when things go south, you find yourself caught in a power struggle between Caesar's Legion and the New California Republic.

Fallout: New Vegas features honest hearts and honest deals, with a reputation system that affects how NPCs interact with you. You'll explore the Mojave Wasteland, Honest Hearts, and Dead Money, facing off against The Burned Man, The Lone Wanderer, and Mr. House.

Fallout 4: The Commonwealth's New Resident

Fallout 4, released in 2015, brings us to the Commonwealth, 210 years after the Great War.

You play as a Vault Dweller once again, this time awakening in Vault 111 to find your family gone and the world in ruins. Your journey takes you across the Commonwealth, from Boston to Far Harbor.

Fallout 4 introduces S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and perks, as well as a new settlement system that lets you build and defend your own communities. You'll face off against The Institute, The Railroad, and The Minutemen.
