Rue's New Normal
Rue's life has changed since we last saw her. She's living with her sister, Gia (Storm Reid), and their mom, Leslie (Nika King). She's got a new job at a local diner and is even helping out with the family's finances. It's a stark contrast to the Rue we've seen before, and it's refreshing to see her taking responsibility.
But, as we all know, Euphoria doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of life. Rue's struggles with sobriety are front and center. She's attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings, and while she's putting on a brave face, it's clear that she's still grappling with her addiction.
The Gang's All Here... Sort Of
Rue isn't the only one who's changed. Jules (Hunter Schafer) is now a successful artist, living in New York City. She's still in touch with Rue, but their dynamic has shifted. Nate (Jacob Elordi) is still the same old Nate, but he's got a new girlfriend, Maddy (Alexa Demie), and they seem happier than ever.
Cal (Eric Dane) and Laurie (Martha Kelly) are still struggling with their relationship, and Ashtray (Javon Walton) is now a successful boxer. But, where's Kat (Barbie Ferreira)? We'll get to that later.
The Party That Started It All
