What Happened?
Early this morning, we received the devastating news of an FSU student's passing. The student, a beloved member of the FSU community, was found unresponsive in their off-campus residence. The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) and FSU's Department of Public Safety (DPS) were immediately on the scene, but unfortunately, it was too late.
We're sending our deepest condolences to the student's family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
FSU's Response
FSU President Richard McCullough released a statement this morning, expressing his heartfelt condolences and offering support to the student's family and friends. He also encouraged the FSU community to come together and support one another during this challenging time.
